Provides strategic technical leadership for enterprise-wide analytic resources and services within the context of the University's ERP applications.
· Defines, develops, and delivers complex software applications, including planning and developing project plans for ERP system upgrades. Ensures that applications comply with university policies.
· Identifies business strategy, requirements, and desired outcomes. Works closely with ERP project managers in support of a project's analytic goals and deadlines.
· Performs business and technical analysis of operational needs, strategic expectations, and technology capabilities primarily within the context of the University's ERP systems or other systems as identified.
· Leads and coordinates the requirements and prioritization of system enhancements for the implementation of new software, patches/fixes, and upgrades.
· Supervises staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
· Develops reporting strategies to support university information needs.
· Evaluates products/services and selection of solution providers.
· Researches application best practices and trends to stay current with system capabilities.
· Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree.
Equivalency/Substitution: Experience or a combination of education & related experience can be considered in lieu of degree. A one-to-one ratio is used to determine the number of years of experience required in place of a degree.
Experience:
Required: 60 months of experienced in analytics, including demonstrated decision making skills.
