Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Supports the fabrication and integration of components for current radar builds. Programs and operates various CNC and manual machines to produce finished components, fixturing, and tooling integral to the production of various radar systems. Also assists in electrical and mechanical integration to support current radar builds.

  • Programs and operates 3D Metal Printers, CNC Router, CNC Mill, CNC Water-Jet, and Manual Lathe/Mill.
  • Prepares solid models to input into various CAM systems depending on part requirements.
  • Assists with DFM process by providing component level input regarding manufacturability and material selection.
  • Performs solid modeling of fixturing and workholding components.
  • Conducts assembly, routing, and testing of control and power circuits and hydraulic and pneumatic circuits for various subsystems.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.


Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Required:  Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering or related field or equivalent military/work experience. 

Experience:

Required: 36 months of machine tool operation including programming and workholding concepts. 24 months of electrical and/or mechanical experience including assembly, integration, and troubleshooting.

Physical:
Ability to engage in repetitive motions and communicate effectively.  

Environmental:
Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods. Ability to use a computer daily.
