Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Serves in a lead engineering role in the analysis, design, development, and testing of radar systems.  

·       Designs, enhances, or tests the accuracy of radar systems.  Develops test plans/test cases/scenarios for radar system testing.
·       Analyzes and assesses system performance. 
·       Designs software applications for radar/equipment monitoring and control.
·       Participates in field experiments and data validation.
·       Performs multi-platform software implementation.
·       Derives requirements for radar systems, including system-level designs, costing, lead times, and implementation. 
·       Provides oversight and technical guidance to team members.
·       Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the functions of the position.


Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Required:  Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Equivalency/Substitution:  Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 108 months of related experience.

Experience:

Required:  60 months of related experience with radar systems.

·       None

·       Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives
