Job Duties:
Job Duties – B2B Outside Sales Representative (Independent Contractor)
• Identify and contact potential retail partners such as pet stores, dog groomers, pet boutiques, veterinary offices, and other pet-related businesses
• Introduce and present the company’s products to prospective wholesale customers
• Build and maintain relationships with local business owners and retail buyers
• Educate potential partners about product features, benefits, and wholesale ordering options
• Secure new wholesale accounts and assist businesses with placing their first orders
• Follow up with prospective clients and maintain communication with existing wholesale customers
• Deliver or coordinate delivery of product samples when appropriate
• Maintain a record of leads, contacts, and sales activity
• Represent the company professionally when meeting with business owners and retail staff
• Provide feedback to the company regarding customer interest, market trends, and product demand
• Attend occasional events or meetings when requested to help promote products to potential wholesale partners
• Meet agreed-upon sales goals and grow wholesale distribution within the assigned territory
Must be available during summer and school holidays/breaks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications – B2B Outside Sales Representative (Independent Contractor)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to local businesses in the Norman and Oklahoma City area
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be comfortable approaching business owners and introducing products in person
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision
• Must be dependable and able to follow through with leads and customer relationships
• Must be organized and able to track sales leads, contacts, and orders
• Must be willing to work as an independent contractor (1099) and manage their own schedule
• Must be comfortable working in a commission-only compensation structure
• Must maintain a professional appearance and conduct when representing the company
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in sales, retail, marketing, or customer service
• Interest in pets, pet products, or small business sales
• Experience building business-to-business relationships or working with local retailers
Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (such as product boxes and inventory)
• Must be able to transport product samples and wholesale orders between their vehicle and business locations
• Must be able to load and unload product boxes from a vehicle when delivering orders to retail partners
• Must be able to bend, reach, push, and carry items as needed when handling product inventory
• Must be able to walk and stand for periods of time when visiting businesses and meeting with retail partners
• Must be able to enter and exit a vehicle frequently when traveling between multiple business locations during sales visits
