Job Duties:

About the Role: 

  • We are looking for a responsible and caring part-time nanny to help provide daytime care for a 5-month-old baby. Typical duties include:
  • Always keep the baby in a safe and secure environment, and monitor for comfort, safety, and developmental needs
  • Assist with feeding (bottle preparation, burping)
  • Support nap schedules and soothe the baby to sleep
  • Change diapers and help with basic hygiene needs
  • Engage the baby with age-appropriate play (tummy time, talking, reading, singing)
  • Maintain a clean and comfortable play/rest area
  • Help with light tidying related to baby care (bottles, toys, blankets, etc.)
  • Arrive on time and follow the agreed-upon schedule
  • Communicate promptly with parents/guardians about the baby’s needs or any concerns
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior experience caring for infants (personal, babysitting, or volunteer work); Basic knowledge of infant safety and developmental needs; Current CPR and First Aid certification (infant/child preferred); Reliability, punctuality, and good communication skills; Ability to commit to the agreed daytime schedule

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry an infant (up to ~25 lbs) safely; Comfort with frequent standing, walking, and gentle rocking/soothing; Ability to sit on the floor and get up easily when engaging in playtime; Light housekeeping tasks related to infant care (e.g., tidying toys, preparing bottles)
Additional Comments:
