Workshop Description:

Supervisors play a pivotal role in employee engagement, productivity, retention, and organizational success. This introductory session provides OU supervisors with the foundational information, training, resources, best practices, and contacts needed to perform their job duties. 

Session facilitators will connect participants to more in-depth training opportunities, how-to guides, and resources, and tell them where to send specific process, department, and situational questions after the session.

  • Completion of the online Timekeeping Essentials course 
  • Completion of the online Preventing Harassment and Discrimination for Supervisors

  • New OU supervisors
  • Individuals who were transferred or promoted into an OU supervisory position for the first time 
  • Current supervisors who have not received this information or want a refresher
