Workshop Description:

This class is made for OUHSC employees who are (or are planning to be) working mothers and are planning on providing breastmilk for their child/ren for 12 months and beyond. This class is also appropriate for managers in how to support their working mothers. We will discuss

• When to start building up your supply for care
• Pumping techniques, tips and tricks
• Brief description of the different types of pumps
• How to effectively have a pumping session to produce the most milk
• How to have the pumping conversation with your manager
• Lactation rooms on campus and workplace rights
• Normal infant behavior beyond 12 weeks
• And more!

If you have any questions with your pump, please bring the pump to the class!
